Call participants volunteered to serve as acting co-chairs

3.Committee Assignment Procedure

Email list of committee options to volunteers, ask for 1st, 2nd, 3rd preferences, make clear volunteers have option to serve on more than one committee

Acting co-chairs will review and sort out responses, confirm assignments

Hold first new steering committee call with reps from each committee, tentative date October 14, noon central

Sue to check with Eldon re other agency volunteers, recruit Plant Diagnostic Network rep

Tom to check on enviro leads with Wisconsin collaboration folks, Food Alliance Stewardship Council, Beyond Pesticides, CDC, APHIS, CCA volunteers

Tom to draft and send out announcement to volunteers re committee options, collate preferences

Jim VK to contact Jody Gangloff re public health person; Ron Stinner re APHIS volunteer; John Ayers, Ed Rajotte

5. Timeline

finalize recruitment by Sept. 26, send new volunteers to Tom at <mailto:ipmworks@ipminstitute.org>ipmworks@ipminstitute.org

E-mail to volunteers re committee options out by Sept. 23, return date by Sept 30.
