National IPM Coordinating Committee

The National Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Coordinating Committee is a committee of the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) and the Experiment Station Committee on Organization and Policy (ESCOP) and functions as a subcommittee of the ESCOP Science and Technology Committee. ESCOP is a committee of the Experiment Station Section of the Board on Agriculture Assembly of the Association of Public Land-grant Universities (APLU).

Through this Committee, The Public IPM Enterprise was formed as one of several publicly funded initiatives dedicated  to protecting American agriculture and communities. Strengthening collaboration across these programs enhances our collective efforts and better serves the public. This includes improving coordination within the Crop Protection and Pest Management Program, enhancing inter-agency communication and developing stronger partnerships with state agencies and industry stakeholders.  This includes a strategic plan for IPM released in 2025.
